Why I decided to buy a book every month?
It’s been a month since I started my job at an IT company. Ah, I should first introduce myself to you folks, you might have met with a guy who always sucks! Yeah, that’s me and all about. By the way I’m still on the way of being an engineer- a 7th semester Computer Science and Engineering fellow trying not to release his hands from his pastimes.
The past month of mine is kind of hard to explain as it measures the heights of patience for a still college going guy. Getting up early so as to get the rest room vacant is what makes me different from my roommates. The daily journey starts at 9 in the morning and goes till the clock gulps 10 hours, except for the weekends.
Now comes the serious bit, I’ve got my first salary. It’s not so much to go and enjoy the pub every weekend’s night but it’s enough for me to spend on my expenses. And I’ve decided to spend some bucks in buying a book every month. Not the ones which tell you how to crack CA, but the ones which make you a better person throughout your life. The ones which make you follow the trails that you’ve embarked from the day you started crawling. The reason behind this thought of mine is quite clear: you always spend thousands to get something which may be useful for you at that time and become obsolete after months but the thing that you’ll get by reading a book is not going to leave you till you breathe to stay alive. You never know what you’re spending a bit today for give you a lot tomorrow.
